Bannockburn Swim Team 2022

Welcome to the 66th year of Bannockburn Dolphin Swimming – Registration is OPEN!  We’ve got an amazing summer line-up filled with improved swimming skills, awesome friends – not to mention Friday night dinners, karaoke and endless team spirit!  Register NOW!  Registration is open for both the competition team and the developmental pre-team.

• Competition Swim Team – All swimmers on the competition team must be able to complete one lap of freestyle across the pool. If your child is 8 & under and/or new to the team, they must complete an in-water evaluation PRIOR to registering for the team. These evaluations will take place at our “Back to Pool” event on Sunday May 15th at 3:00pm at Bannockburn.
• Pre-Team – If you have a younger swimmer, comfortable blowing bubbles, kicking on the wall or with a kickboard, the Bannockburn pre-team is a great choice. Pre-teamers must be five years old before June 1, 2022. Swimmers should have knowledge of the freestyle stroke, and be comfortable and confident in water over 5 feet in depth. The Pre-Team runs from mid-June through mid-July, and culminates with the Annual Pre-Team Meet!

Practice Schedule – Early-evening practices begin May 23rd and starting June 20th you have a choice of morning and/or evening practice times.  Refer to the team schedule for more information.

Meets – Competitive team swimmers of all abilities will have a chance to compete in Wednesday evening B-meets.  Qualifying swimmers will compete in Saturday morning A-meets. Pre-team will have one meet at the end of the season!

Lessons – Private lessons with coaches and pool staff will be available throughout the summer – more information coming soon.

Upcoming Events:
·       Sunday, May 15th 3:00-4:30 – Back-To-Pool Night – Meet your coaches and teammates and grab a slice of pizza! Bannockburn Swim Team merchandise and team bathing suits will be available for purchase. 8 & under and/or new swimmers should bring a swimsuit to complete an in-water assessment evaluation!
·       Monday, May 23rd – Swim Practices Begin
·       Saturday, June 11th – Time Trials (intrasquad meet)

BANNOCKBURN DIVE TEAM 2022

The Bannockburn Dive Team is planning to be back for Summer 2022!  We are excited to welcome new divers and all returning divers – your child(ren) only needs to be 5 years old and up and able to swim from the board to ladder.  Never done a front dive?  That’s OK.   No experience required-we love beginners. The Bannockburn Dive team is low pressure, no cut, everyone can compete, minimal time commitment and most important fun team. It also a great way to get to know and hang out with fellow cool Dolphins.  Our coaches (Liam, Ainsley and Brooke) are home grown Dolphin divers-they got their start as summer divers at Bannockburn.  If you have any questions please feel free to email Loretta at bobolr@yahoo.com.  Registration is open now here.   Practices will start Tuesday May 31.
