The Week Ahead – Aug 5
Dear pool members,
I hope you have all stayed cool in the heat and safe in the storms. We are looking at another stretch of warm weather ahead, so please do read ahead for our Bannockburn pool updates!
Weekend Closing Hours
The sun is setting earlier now, so weekend closing hours will now go back to 8 pm. Please note that this is effective immediately. Later in month as it starts to get dark earlier we will begin closing at 7:30 pm nightly. This means that we are open 10:30 am to 8 pm daily with week days early bird adult swim 6:30 – 8:30 am.
Raft Night – Saturday, Aug 5 6:00 – 6:45 pm
Raft hour is a beloved Bannockburn Pool tradition! Please join us with your zaniest rafts and feel free to invite friends (make sure you have enough guest credits please). Kids absolutely adore this and we close the entire deep end for this event. (Sorry no lap swimmers for this brief 45 minute time period). And don’t forget an electric pump! If you are out of town this weekend, fear not we will schedule another later in the month.
Upcoming Food Events
Bannockburn Pool is famous for its gourmet food offerings. Most of these small, family-owned businesses are still recovering from huge financial losses during Covid. Please consider ordering from them on their visits, rather than bringing your own, to make it worth their while. Check the calendar for the upcoming food events in the weeks ahead.
