Little Sesame single origin sources their organic Kabuli chickpeas from regenerative farmer Casey Bailey in Fort Benton, Montana who grows them exclusively for Little Sesame. In the Middle East where hummus originates, it is not just a dip, but it serves as the main course. Since the onset of the pandemic and the shut down in March, Little Sesame has partnered with local and national nonprofits – World Central Kitchen, Share Our Strength and Dreaming out Loud – producing and serving nearly 75,000 meals to some of DC’s most vulnerable populations.
In addition, Little Sesame is providing Feed The Fridge, a new not for profit org meals for folks in need in their eleven strategically placed fridges around the DC area weekly. Bannockburn customers can contribute to this worthy cause here.  In addition they have just week joined forces with ReThink, an organization out of NYC,  feeding clients of the esteemed ThriveDC!

I hope you’ll join me in welcoming Little Sesame to our community and supporting them by ordering some of their delicious offerings. (Check out their family meals, fattoush salad & tagine kits too).
