Back by popular demand, Puddin’ is the talk of the DMV food truck scene. Puddin’s menu and pre-ordering will open Monday, June 21 here. She will also welcome walk up orders but pre-ordering highly advised since she may sell out quickly.
At Puddin’, Toyin specializes in divine southern comfort food which is strongly influenced by Cajun, New Orleans dishes – shrimp/catfish/oyster po’ boys, gumbo, seafood etoufee, shrimp n grits, steamed shrimp, fresh peeled crawfish and of course her signature dish and the company’s namesake, Brown Butter Bourbon Bread Puddin’!
Here is a bit more background on Puddin’: Toyin Alli, the Owner of Puddin’ got her start in 2010 as a street food vendor at DC’s historic Eastern Market on Capitol Hill. Since her start, Puddin’ has grown to include various local markets, including
Union Market and two food trucks. Puddin’ serves local, sustainable and great tasting Wild Blue Catfish from the Chesapeake Bay Watershed and local Rappahannock Oysters!
