Taqueria Habanero, a wonderful small-Mexican owned restaurant in Columbia Heights will be making this special community delivery featuring all the classic authentic Mexican cuisine offerings (tacos, burritos, quesadillas, flautas, Mexican tortas- sandwiches, etc).

Here is a bit more about this immigrant-owned business:

The Habanero Familia (Mirna & Dio Montero) immigrated to the United States about 15 years ago. As newcomers, they acquired positions from dishwasher to line cook in the downtown DC restaurant industry, including working for Chef José Andrés.
They had a vision to provide the greatest cultural experience, in a single bite, and opened Taqueria Habanero in 2014 on 14th Street in Columbia Heights, Washington, DC.

At Taqueria Habanero, they provide authentic Mexican cuisine with ingredients from the streets of their hometown, Puebla, Mexico.  Their dishes are crafted using the fresh, authentic flavors of Mexico. Every day, they hand prep each of their sauces, marinades, and tortillas from scratch.
Beyond the food, they have built an atmosphere where team members have become family. They want Taqueria Habanero to create fond memories with family and friends, and build community through a shared love for tacos and margaritas.
