Free Level One Pilates Adult Exercise Class

Pilates is inspired by Calisthenics, yoga and ballet. Pilates trains the body as an integrated whole, focusing on core, lower and upper body, it improves flexibility, strength, balance, body awareness and posture.  The exercises will be modified for those who have any musculoskeletal issues.

Meet us in the grassy part of the pool grounds near the grills @ 7:30 AM.  Please bring a yoga mat and towel or two towels if you don’t have a yoga mat.

Open to pool members and friends free of charge. All skill levels most welcome, even first timers!

Here is some background on our lovely volunteer instructor:

Mahdia Moran graduated with a degree in exercise science and has been teaching Pilates since 2008. She is certified to teach Pilates, pilates on the reformer, active aging population, cycling, bosu ball, and Zumba.  She is currently a gym instructor at the World Bank.
